Managing Templates

To manage existing templates, select the Form Builder module under Documents from the horizontal menu. From this view, you can see a complete list of all existing templates.

Search & Sort

Search for a template by ID, Name, or Type by clicking the Search icon next to the respective column heading.

To show any column data in ascending or descending order, click the Sort icon to the right of the column heading.

View

To view a template, click the View button under the Actions column. This will open the template as it would be viewed by the user in ezGMP. To navigate to a certain section of the template, click the section name from the list at the top of the template. Alternatively, use the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom of the page to navigate through the sections.

To access a PDF of a section as it would be seen in the finalized document, click Review Step. This will generate a PDF of that section that opens in a new tab.

To access a PDF of the full template as it would be seen in the finalized document, click Review. This will generate a PDF of the entire template that opens in a new tab.

To return to the template list view, click Exit.

Additional Actions

To perform additional actions, click the down arrow under the Actions column.

  • Lock: Users with admin or QC permissions can lock templates to prevent them from being edited by clicking Lock from the dropdown menu.
  • Edit: To edit a template, click Edit, make the desired changes, then click Save.
  • Archive: To remove a template from the list, click Archive. The template will remain in the database, but will no longer be accessible to users. If a template is archived by accident and needs to be retrieved, please contact us.
  • Copy: To copy a template, click Copy. This will create a duplicate of the template that will now appear in the list, titled Template Name duplicate.
