Reviewing Documents

If someone requests to modify or update an existing document in ezGMP, the document change request will appear in a list in this section for easy access to review and approve.

To review document change requests, select the Quality Dashboard module under Quality from the horizontal menu, then navigate to the Reviews tab.

To review a document change request, click the down arrow under the Actions column next to the document you want to review, then click Edit. This will open the document change request.

The first section includes the details of the change request, including the document to be revised, the requestor who prepared the change request, and the date the request was submitted. It also includes a description of the requested changes that the requestor entered, and a description of the reason for the changes.

Once you have reviewed these details, click Next.

Revision Process

In this section, you can add the details for the revision. If another user has already added these details, you can review, then proceed to the approval stage by clicking the Next button at the bottom of the page.

If you are the user who is performing the revision, enter your name into the Document edited by field. Detail the changes being made to the document in the Change(s) to document text field.

Upload the new document from your files by clicking the + Upload button.

Select the date by typing it into the Date field or by clicking the date on the calendar dropdown.

Click the Next button.

Approval

The approving authority can approve the revised document in this section.

Select Accepted or Rejected under Decision.

Select the date by typing it into the Date field or by clicking the date on the calendar dropdown.

Enter any additional notes in the Notes text field.

Click the Save button. The document will now be updated in its respective locations throughout ezGMP. The previous version of the document will be accessible in the Records module.
